What must be handed in
The aim of this unit is to develop a piece for display at an event that we will be putting on in the last week of term at Poole Quay. Obviously the unit finishes prior to this date so here is what you need to hand in for the 9th November:
The primary part of the handin is a technical specification which should contain:
- A complete description of the piece, including mockups, machetes, visualisations, images, videos
- A technical description of the set up, the equipments, the layout, the proportions, costs, materials, environmental requirements (does in need a dark room)
- The video and sound elements you have produced so far to demonstrate you idea
All developmenetal media up to this point in the form of a blog this should contain:
- The experiments you have done
- The ideas you have developed and discarded and why
- Research in the theory and technical development
The crit takes place on the 9th November I would suggest that for this event you create a presentation that summarises the key points and thinking in the development of your idea (please start you presentation by describing your idea as though it were a pitch).
